Born February 21, 1963 in Charlotte, NC. he was a son of the late Louis Moore and Arlevia McCullough Moore.
Louis was the Head Chaplain for Atrium Health.
Survivors include his children, Louis Pierre Joseph (Janiya Bennette), Kiana A. Moore and Laquann Moore; his grandchildren, Camberen Pierre Joseph and Paige Newton-Moore; honorary daughter, D'miyah Cason; honorary niece, Erica Steele; sisters, Doris Moore, Sylvia Moore, Karen Moore, Iris Moore (Tony Howard) and Sophia Shuler; brothers, Jerry Moore, Eric Moore and Julius K. Moore; fiancé, Mildred A. Davis and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
Louis was predeceased by a grandson, Caleb Joseph and 2 brothers, Jimmy Moore and Harry Moore.
Friends may visit Sunday, January 24 at McEwen Funeral Service-Derita Chapel, 6300 Mallard Creek Road, Charlotte, NC 28262. NC Covid-19 regulations allow 10 visitors at a time in the building.
