Ledoris Maxine Swearingen, age 80, of Aurora, Missouri passed away 2 January 2021 at the Aurora Nursing Center. She was born January 17, 1940 in Fresno, California, the daughter of McKinley and Emma (Hardin Hedrick.

Ledoris was the activity director for the Ozarks Methodist Manor in Marionville, Missouri and for the Aurora Nursing Center before retiring from the housekeeping department at the Missouri Rehabilitation Center in Mount Vernon, Missouri. She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Aurora.

Ledoris is survived by three sons, Tim Swearingen and wife, Cheryl, of Crane, Missouri, Steven Swearingen and wife, Diane, and Doug Swearingen and wife, Robin, all of Jenkins, Missouri; two sisters, Leona Richardson and husband, Zethro, of Aurora and Wilma Smith of Marionville, Missouri; two brothers, Ronnie Hedrick, of Aurora and Joe Hedrick and wife, Jeri, of Shell Knob, Missouri; eight grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Ledoris was preceded in death by her parents, McKinley and Emma; two sisters, Pauline Skief and Lexi Schwitters; and five brothers, Ralph, Glen, Don, J. B., and Floyd Hedrick; and a set of infant twins .

Visitation Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home in Aurora. Funeral service followed in the funeral home chapel. Interment in Maple Park Cemetery in Aurora.
