Gibson Sr, Edward "Ed" Harold, 74, of North Chesterfield, passed away January 20, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents, Oliver and Virginia Gibson; and sister, Susan Creasey. He is survived by his wife, Carole King-Gibson; children, Kimberly Bennett, Eddie Gibson (Cherie); mother of his children, Pamela Wilber; stepdaughters, Rebecca Bellamy (Jack), Heather Elliott, Lauren King; 12 granchildren and other extended family members and close friends. Ed was retired from the State of Virginia Department of Transportation after 49 years of service. A private visitation will be held Monday, January 25, from 5 to 8 p.m. A funeral ceremony will be held Tuesday, January 26, at 10 a.m. at Bliley's-Chippenham, 6900 Hull Street Rd. Interment to follow in Maury Cemetery.
