James Gordon Griggs

James Gordon Griggs, 69, passed away peacefully, Sunday, Jan. 3, 2021, of heart failure. James was born July 4, 1951 in Portland where he lived most of his life. James served in the USAF with active duty in Vietnam.
James was a registered organ donor and is helping to improve the lives of others by participating. James was an avid reader and enjoyed trains, planes and a good cup of coffee. James is survived by five siblings, David (Marcia) Griggs, Vicki Griggs, Jorjean (Rick) Henson, Janice (David) Vasquez, Gary Griggs; and many nieces, nephews and cousins he adored. James will be interred in Willamette National Cemetery with military honors at a time to be determined.
James brought humor, his faith, and kind efforts to all his friends and family and will be greatly missed.
