She was born on November 9th, 1955 in Dalton, GA. She was a 1973 graduate of Valley Point High School. She spent much of her career in cost accounting at Roger's Dye & Finishing, Queen Carpet and General Latex & Chemical. She is a member of the First Christian Church in Dalton.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Henry William Beard, Annie Mae Beard (Wade), Walter Howard Williams, and Olla Mae Williams (Collins); and her dad, John Harold Beard.
She is survived by her mom, Dorothy Frances Beard (Williams); husband, Jesse Baker of Knoxville, TN and formerly Dalton, GA; daughter, Andrea Rudd (formerly Boyd and Bishop) of Knoxville, TN; son, Curtis Boyd; grandchildren, Andrew Bishop (Knoxville, TN), Cayden Bishop (North Carolina), Colby Bishop (Knoxville, TN), Ean Boyd, Emma Boyd, Chloe Boyd; great grandchildren, Gracie Bishop, Grayson Bishop, and Eli Bishop; brothers, Randall Beard, Douglas Beard, Carlton Beard, Darryl Beard, and Robert Beard all of Dalton, GA; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A funeral service to celebrate the life of Clarice Loraine Baker will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, January 24, 2021 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Pastor Tim McIntosh officiating.
