A Graveside Service for Clyde William Richardson, age 75, was Saturday, January 23, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. at Ashland City Cemetery with Pastor John Luckie and Pastor James Davis officiating. A visitation was held prior to the service.

Mr. Richardson passed away on Tuesday, January 19, 2021, at his home. He was born in Hillwood, AL and spent most of his life in or near Clay County. He proudly served in the US Army and was a member of Covenant Life Church. He also owned and operated Richardson’s Grocery for a number of years.

He is survived by her wife of 23 years, Tabitha Richardson; children, George (Lesley) Richardson of Talladega, Dionna (Jamie) Ferguson of Ashland and Dianna (Jamie) Strickland of Lineville; grandchildren, William ( Therese), Kimberly (Micky), Brooklyn, Amber, Cheyenne, Autumn, Logan and Aly; great-grandchildren, Jayden, Anabeth and Madeline; siblings, Clarence (Levis) Richardson of Goodwater, Carlton (Betty) Richardson of Cullman and Carolyn (Henry) Campbell of Arley; many nieces and nephews, a host of friends, and other extended family.

Preceded in death by his parents, James Aubrey Richardson and Mary Aline Hindmon Richardson; siblings, Mary Lane, Billy, Jimmy, James and Lee Richardson.

Pallbearers will be Micky Griggs, Logan Tucker, William Richardson, Randy Richardson, Jimmy Richardson and Jamie Strickland.
