Loretta Moss
   ELON — Loretta Summers Moss, 64, of Charleigh Court passed away Friday, July 18, 2014, surrounded by her family.
   A native of Alamance County, she was the wife of Michael Harding Moss and daughter of the late Verlyn Summers and Marguerite Smith Tickle.
   She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Whitsett where she was secretary for 25 years. She was a former “Cook of the Month,” taught microwave cooking at Alamance Community College, was a teachers’ assistant at A-O school and an accountant at Wilson Tire Service.
   Survivors include her husband, Mike Moss; son, Steven Moss and wife Susan; daughter, Shannon M. Huffine and husband Gregg; grandchildren, Harris, Hunter and Hudson Moss and Noah and Gable Huffine; sisters, Jo Ann Satterfield, Carolyn Whitaker, Glenda Madren and husband Jack and Gail Fowler; brother, Darryl Tickle and wife Marie.
   Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 20, 2014, in the Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Tim Stevens and the Rev. Mike Mitchener. Interment will follow in Alamance Memorial Park. Mrs. Moss will remain at Lowe Funeral Home through the funeral service.
   The family will receive friends at Lowe Funeral Home from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday.
