Roy Edmond Ames, passed away January 16, 2021 in Frisco, TX at the age of 79. Born June 21, 1941 in Malta, Montana, Roy was a senior instructor for Carrier, Corp. in HVAC repair and owned his own business. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force.

Those who knew Roy, understood that he was a sociable person, loved being with family and friends, and was always giving of himself, his money, and his time, to those in need.

Roy was an usher at Covenant Church, and spent his spare time walking and exploring, usually with his metal detector, adding to his coin collection. Most of all, Roy loved Jesus.

He was predeceased by his parents, Frances and Ruth Ames, 1 sister and an infant daughter.

Survivors include his wife: Carol; son: Mikael Ames and wife Sylvia; daughter: Holly Scarborough and husband Chris; grandchildren: John, Justin, and Cody; great-granddaughter: Athena; along with a hosts of family and friends.
