Howard J. Sparks, 70, formerly of Stoneville, NC died Sunday, January 10th, 2021 at his home in Mesa Arizona, of natural causes.
Howard was born on March 11th, 1950 to Johnnie and Emma (Katie) Sparks of Stoneville. Howard lived a nomadic life thanks to his career with the U.S. State Department but always managed to stay connected to his extended family and hometown.
Howard leaves behind 3 children Tabitha Sparks Carter and husband Marty of Belleville, Il; Howard Sparks Jr. and wife Brandi Adams of Mesa, AZ and Son Michael Sparks of Greensboro, NC as well as 3 grandchildren MG Carter, Shane Carter, Havana Adams.
A 2:00 p.m. graveside inurnment will be held on Friday, January 22, 2021 at Beaver Island Baptist Church Cemetery in Mayodan, where Howard will be laid to rest beside his parents.
The family wishes to thank everyone who has reached out and had kind words and memories of their father and shared them. They will be shared with his grandkids and his memory will go on.
Memorials should be made to the American Heart Association or a Veteran’s charity of choice, in lieu of flowers.
