Chuck loved being with family and spoiling his "grands", being at the farm and spending time with friends. He taught kids and grandkids how to drive a racecar, truck, and tractor; how to cut donuts on sport ATV, how to shoot; and many more fun things..... a boring grandpa he was not!!
He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister-in-law, Lynn Higginbotham.
Charles is survived by his wife, three sons, five grandchildren, brother and sister. There are many nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends that have been "family" all their lives.
A Graveside service will be at 1:30pm on Sunday, January 24, 2021 at Gatlin Cemetery with Bro. Steve Hargrove officiating.
