David C. Perez Sr. passed away peacefully in his home on Thursday, January 14, 2021 with his beloved wife, Eleazar Perez, and children, David Perez Jr., Diana Cortez, Dalia Flores, and Daniel Perez by his side.
David was born on January 29, 1931 near Edroy, Texas. He was a devoted husband to his loving wife of 39 years and was always by her side. He was also a proud retiree of Trinity Industries after more than two decades of employment. Throughout his life, David always found time to do the things he enjoyed most, including fishing, hunting, traveling, and spending time with his family. He will be remembered by family and friends as a patriarch who was as amusing as he was selfless. David was a strong, proud, and good man. He is loved and will be missed by many.
David will be reunited with his parents, Manuel and Secundina Perez, siblings Elias Perez, Alvina Perez, Enrique Perez, Celia Perez, Sobeida Perez Marez, Ofelia Perez Paiz, and Adela Perez Martinez, grandson David Perez III, and granddaughter Stephanie Flores, who have gone to be with the Lord. He is survived by devout wife Eleazar Perez, brother Elias Perez Sr., sister Delia Perez Cantu and husband Leonardo, children David Perez Jr. and wife Rosie, Diana Cortez and husband Jesus, Dalia Flores and partner John, Daniel Perez and wife Cristina, 12 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren, and a host of beloved friends and extended family.
