NORMAN PARK, GA- Ernest Lee Boyd, Sr., 66, of Norman Park, died Monday, June 3, 2019 at Tift Regional Medical Center.
Funeral service will be held 2:00PM Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at Cobb Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Harris Whitman officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Cobb Funeral Chapel. Interment will be in Cobb-Suncrest Memorial Gardens.
Casketbearers will be Mitchell Parten, Jordan Boyd, Thomas Boyd, Will Boyd, Andrew Tucker and Cole Welch.

Born January 4, 1953 in Tifton, he was the son of the late Wilburn Thomas Boyd and Lois Purvis Boyd. Mr. Boyd was a supervisor at Destiny Mobile Home and a member of Pineview Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.

Survivors include his wife, Laura Jeanette Black Boyd of Norman Park; children, Lois Parten and Jason, Laura Peacock and Joey, Kim Kersey and Jimmy all of Moultrie, Ernest Boyd, Jr. and April of Alapaha; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; four sisters and five brothers.
