ALLEN, FRANCES V. Age 85 January 18, 2021. Beloved wife of the late James Allen & the late Roy Muncy. Loving mother of Rosemary (Dennis) Mitchell, Michael Muncy, Carol (Owen) Miller, & the late Thomas (Michelle) Muncy. Proud grandmother of Dawn (John) Burrell, Joshua Mitchell, Alicia Miller, Hunter Muncy, Zachary Muncy & Sherri Bigler (Stocking). Great grandmother of Ryan (Krystal) Smith, Jacob Burrell, Elliana Bigler & Nathaniel Bigler. Great great grandmother of Nathaniel Smith, Grant Smith & Nash Smith. Dearest sister of Imogene (the late Gary) Schwartz, Phyllis (the late Delbert) Miller, Al (Irene) Silcox, the late Bernice Silcox, the late Juanita Silcox, the late Alberta (the late Cruz) Trujillo & the late Hubert (the late Wanda) Silcox. Frances was born August 28, 1935 in Middlesboro, KY to the late Luther and the late Birdie Silcox. Along with her sisters Imogene and Phyllis, they attended Sibyl's Beauty School in Michigan. Frances was thrilled to attend school with her three sisters to learn hairstyling. Sibyl's enjoyed having the three sisters in their program so much that they wrote an articel for the newspaper, how the three lovely southern belles attended Sibyl's together. With the arrival of children, Frances devoted her time and energy to being a homemaker. Her main priority became raising her children, cooking wonderful food and making a beautfiul home. She loved bowling, competing in tournaments and winning many trophies. Frances sang with Jean, Phyllis and brother in law Denton in the Gospel Heirs. An avid gardener, she loved growing roses at her home. Due to COVID-19 restrictions all sevices are private. Donations are welcome to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Interment Christian Memorial Cultural Center.
