Douglas Allen Turner, 57, of Ottumwa, died at 2:05 p.m. December 31, 2020 at Ottumwa Regional Health Center.

He was born July 19, 1963 in Ottumwa to Bruce Allen and Connie Conder Turner.
A graduate of Ottumwa High School, Doug worked for Courtney Lawn & Leisure, Berry Bearing and Ottumwa Water Works.

Doug loved spending time outdoors, especially at the river.

Surviving are his parents, Bruce and Connie Turner of Ottumwa; a sister, Teresa Ross; and his dog, Lucy.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents.

Limited open visitation will be 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday, January 7th at Reece Funeral Home. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.rfh-ia.com.
Private funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday, January 8th at Reece Funeral Home with Dan Smith officiating. For those unable to be at the service, you may watch it live on the Reece Funeral Home Facebook page. Burial will be at Shaul Cemetery.
