A Rosary service was held at the Armstrong-Lozier Chapel last Friday evening, October 4th.
The Rev. Father John E. Ferry officiated the Mass of Celebration. Pallbearers were Gerald Roach, James Roach, Michael Roach, Patrick Roach, and Mark Roach. Burial was at St. Aloysius Catholic Cemetery. Armstrong-Lozier Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Mary Roach was born June 6, 1895 at Lisbon, Ransom County, ND to Edward and Catherine (Madigan) Roach. She attended schools in the Lisbon area. She took her nurses training at Billings, Montana, becoming a Registered Nurse. She was a RN at St. Vincents in Billings before her retirement in 1963.
On July 17, 1929, she married Henry "Hank" Leonard Eddy at Miles City, Montana. He preceded her in death on November 26, 1945.
She and Hank had no children of their own but is survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Relatives in the area are: Mrs. Hilmer (Delores) Ronning, David and James Roach of Lisbon, Gerald Roach of Valley City, and a sister-in-law Mrs. Dan Roach of Lisbon.
