Mr. Haas was of the Baptist faith and a proud veteran of the U.S. Army. He was an avid outdoors man and enjoyed fishing, camping, and especially dairy farming. Ervin will be remembered for his love of family and his caring nature.
Those left to cherish his memory include one son, Anthony Haas and wife Susan of Hudson; three daughters, Laura Norris and Kim Singleton and husband Buck, all of Hudson, and Debbie Coffey and husband David of Granite Falls; three sisters, Katherine Kale of Louisiana, Gladys Hass of South Carolina, and Shirley Haas of Lenoir; four beloved grandchildren, Chris Norris and significant other Karri, Justin Haas, Russell Coffey and wife Amy, and Amber Singleton and fiancé Nick; and six great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held Monday, January 25, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. at Bollinger Family Cemetery conducted by Rev. Daniel Murphy.
