She was born March 27, 1934 in Caldwell County to the late Pansy Ethel Miller Bumgarner.
She was also preceded by one brother-in-law, Jay Greene.
She was a member of Bethany Baptist Church and played piano for 62 years.
Surviving are her husband of 70 years, Grady “Harley” Greene, Sr.; son, Grady Harley Greene, Jr.; daughter Emily Kay Greene; four grandchildren, Shannon Greene (Carlos) Foust, Amy Summerlin, Grady Greene, III and
Lauren (Robbie) LaCombe; five great-grandchildren, Scott Presnell, Joseph (Mykala) Woods, Alison Woods,
Langston LaCombe and Lowe LaCombe; one great-great-grandchild, Natalyn Presnell; two sisters, Mary (Bob) Greear and Carolyn (Victor) Mueller; three brother-in-laws, Dillard (Peggy) Greene, Troy Greene and Boyd (Cleo) Greene.
Due to COVID, a private graveside service will be held at Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery conducted by Rev. Gurney Robbins.
