Was Employed at Orient State Farm for 15 years

Mrs. Amanda Gibson died Wednesday at 6:15 p.m. at the home of her niece, Mrs. Estella Caldwell on Triumph Street. She was 74 years of age last April.
Mrs. Gibson had been in failing health two years, but had been bedfast for only the past two weeks following a stroke. She resided on Mitchell Street, being taken to her niece's home two weeks ago after her serious illness began.
The deceased was before her marriage Amanda Yerian. She was the widow of John B. Gibson who died 21 years ago. For 15 years Mrs. Gibson was employed at the Orient state farm giving up that work about three years ago and returning to her home here.
Surviving are one sister, Mrs. Josie McCune of near Washington C.H.; and two brothers, Sherman Yearian of Washington C.H. and Frank Yerian of Mt. Sterling.
The funeral service will be held Sunday at 1:30 p.m. from the Caldwell residence, Rev. C. H. Borror officiating. Interment will be made in Fairmount by Funeral Director Charles L. Wood.
