Vickie Pearl Ellis, 67, of Amarillo, TX, died January 3, 2021.

Private memorial services will be at Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel with Dr. G.A. Roach officiating. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.

Vickie was born December 9, 1953, in El Dorado, Kansas, to Floyd and Aline Ellis.

Vickie worked for AISD for many years and retired from the High Plains Food Bank; work that she was really proud of. She loved Elvis music and dancing. Vickie was known for going overboard on Christmas presents for all of her grandkids.

She loved vacations to Corpus Christi and the beach was her happy place. She and her sister, Nancy, were the best of friends. She enjoyed watching movies and completing large puzzles. Vickie was most known for her kindness and sweet smile.

Vickie was preceded in death by, her parents, Floyd and Aline Ellis and sister, Sondia Rojas.

Survivors include her sons, Mike and wife Kathleen Janzen, Mark and wife Claudia Cruz, Tim and wife Karen Cruz and her sister, Nancy & husband Larry Bryant; eleven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the High Plains Food Bank.

Public viewing will be available Wednesday, January 6, 2021 until noon Friday Friday, January 8, 2021 at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
