Robin Thiesfeldt

De Pere - Robin René (Tomaschefsky) Thiesfeldt, De Pere, passed away on Monday January, 18. She was born on May 11, 1961 to the late Robert "Tommie" and Corrine (Hansen) Tomaschefsky.

Robin attended Ashwaubenon High School, Class of 1979. After high school, Robin moved to Texas and lived with her sister Paula. She then ventured out to California, where she waitressed and sang in a band which she loved. She even entered a beauty pageant where she was crowned Miss Rohnert Park. After a few years in California, she returned back to Green Bay.

While out one night with her girlfriend, she met her soulmate and love of her life Ronnie Lee Thiesfeldt. They spotted each other from across the bar and Ron said to his buddy, "Wow, look at that beautiful blonde." Little did he know, Robin was saying to her girlfriend "Wow, look at that cute volleyball guy." And the rest is history. They dated for several years and married on July 9, 1988, Flamingo weekend, which they spent every anniversary attending.

Throughout her life, she held different jobs, but her favorite was being a receptionist, where she had the opportunity to do what she loved most, interacting with and helping people. Her favorite was the time she spent as the receptionist at Broadway Automotive. Her infectious personality and smile will surely be remembered by all who came to know and love her.

Robin was a member of the Cormier Classic Kids (Ashwaubenon), The Brown County Homebuilders Association, where she enjoyed helping out whenever called upon for the many events held by the organization and also donating her time and smile to local charities that were close to her heart. She especially looked forward to her monthly dinner dates with her high school girlfriends.

Her favorite activity was bowling, achieving a high series of 678. She bowled on many different leagues over the years and even attended a few state bowling tournaments with "the girls", times that she loved and spoke of often. She also enjoyed time with family and friends playing in local volleyball and dart leagues. Other hobbies included shopping with her friends, crafting and gardening and was especially proud of her annual flower beds and her 6ft. tall tomato plant.

Her ultimate passion was her love for music. Being raised in a musical family, she and her siblings could often be found performing mini concerts at local nursing homes, firemen's banquets, CP telethon and numerous weddings - too many to count. She was a proud member of the Ashwaubenon High School Select Chorus. She traveled with the chorus on many trips for choral competitions. She also participated in many Solo Ensembles, taking home many First place pins. If the Tomaschefsky kids where together, you can bet there was music.

Robin could light up a room with her beauty and smile. She had a heart of gold and would help anyone that needed it. She was sincere and always had an ear to listen. Her family meant everything to her and she held them all very close to her heart. She loved spending time with family and friends, whether it be a family gathering or just sitting around a campfire, all were special times in her eyes. She also loved their travels including trips to Las Vegas, Washington D. C., Florida, New Orleans and Mexico, but her favorite, were the trips to Jamaica and a little reggae music.

Survivors include her husband and soulmate of 33 years, Ronnie; her feathered companion, Ochi; siblings, Paula (Mike) Firkins, Jeff, David (Leanne), Terri (Wayne) White, Faith (Kirk) Altergott. Brother and sister in-laws, Keith (Sue), Rick (Christie), Jody Fuller (special friend Larry), Todd (Annette), Monette Dorow (special friend Jason). She is further survived by many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly, cousins, her Uncle Bobby and Aunt Phyllis and numerous friends — too many to count.

Robin was preceded in death by her parents, her in-laws, maternal and paternal grandparents, her infant brother Paul, sister-in-law Jill and aunts and uncles.

Family and friends may visit at Ryan Funeral Home, 305 N. Tenth Street, De Pere, beginning at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 23, 2021. A prayer service will conclude the evening at 7:30 p.m. To extend online condolences, please visit www.ryanfh.com.
