Born April 12, 1932, in Lone Mountain, TN, Mrs. Miller was the daughter of the late Dewey Burke and Bessie Wilder Burke Magruder. She was also preceded in death by her husband: R. LeRoy Miller; two daughters: Deborah Ann Miller and Donna Marie McKenzie: a son-in-law: David Leo McKenzie; a brother: Doyle “Sonny” Burke; and a sister: Erma Burgess.
A wonderful homemaker, Pauline and her husband owned and operated a family dairy farm in Pocahontas, PA, and M&G Tire Shop, Wheaton, MD. She was a member of the Cornerstone Baptist Church and the Good Samaritans. Pauline enjoyed bowling for many years and camping in the RV with her husband. She also enjoyed bird watching and collecting.
Pauline is survived by her children: Beverly Miller, Rural Hall, NC; Rebecca Price and husband, Jack, Cumberland, MD; Nancy Miller, Pittsburgh, PA; Raymond “Lee” LeRoy, Jr., and wife, Bonnie, Meyersdale, PA; and Jeffrey Miller and wife, Sally, Bedford, PA; her sisters: Bernice Morrisey and husband, James; and Janet Burke; 15 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Friends will be received at the Adams Family Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur Street, Cumberland, MD, on Sunday, January 24, 2021, from 2:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M.
A funeral service will be conducted at the Cornerstone Baptist Church on Monday, January 25, 2021, at 11:00 A.M., with Pastor Dave Hattenfield officiating. The family will also receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Interment will be in Restlawn Memorial Gardens.
