She was born Aug. 27, 1970, in Madison, the daughter of David A. and Carolyn Warner Smith. She was a member of the Versailles Wesleyan Church and enjoyed watching her brother's auto races.
She is survived by four sons, Elgin Fidell of Versailles, Brandon Christopher Philson and Mark Philson, both of South Bend, and Travis Clark of Terre Haute; one daughter, Cassandra Philson of South Bend; her mother, Carolyn Warner Rutter of Hamilton, Ohio; her grandmother, Rosalie Warner of Fort Wayne; one sister, Marilee Fuller of Greensburg; and three brothers, David Smith Jr. of Kentucky, and Jonathan Smith and Ryan Smith, both of Versailles.
She was preceded in death by her father on Feb. 24, 1991; one sister, Conswellia Smith on Oct. 29, 1999; and her grandparents, Charles Warner, and James and Mayme Jacobs Smith.
The funeral was at Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home in Vevay. Burial was in Vevay Cemetery.
