Sacramento, California - Marilyn passed peacefully in her sleep of natural causes in Sacramento, Ca. Loving wife to Archie Parker for almost 62 years. Mother of Janet Parker Gaborek ( David Wombold) and Glenn Parker. Grandmother to Tuesday Parker, Ian Gaborek and Cameron Parker. Predeceased by Grandson Alex Gaborek. Great Grandmother to Harrison Parker. Also survived by sister Judith Bretthauer, Brother and Sister in law Baysul and Barbara Parker and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was born and raised in Rio Vista and graduated from Rio Vista High School. She worked for the States of California and Montana and as a legal secretary for her husband Archie Parker for many years.
She will be remembered for her love of family, animals, and artistic creativity.
Private burial will be held. Her cremains will be laid to rest in Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Elk Grove. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Centennial United Methodist church in her name. (cumc.sac.org)
