She died Thursday, November 1, 2007 in the Southeast Georgia Health System, Brunswick. Mrs. Bledsoe was a native of Rome, Georgia and had been a resident of St. Simons Island for the past 50 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church on St. Simons and taught Sunday school for many years.
Survivors are her sons, brothers, 6 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held in the chapel of the Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home. Interment will be held at 1 o'clock Monday, November 5, 2007 in the Westview Cemetery in Atlanta, GA.
