George A Strong, a native of Potsdam, died in his home on Maple Str. Massena, Feby 17, after an illness of about two years of Bright's disease. Mr. Strong was born in Potsdam in 1858 and moved to Massena 5 years ago and has since resided there. He is survived by his wife and one daughter, Mrs. William Pierce of Ilion, and two sons, Andrew of Ilion and Edward of Jersey City, all of whom were with him at the time of his death.
The funeral was held from his late home, Rev. George H. Stone of the Advent Church officiating. The remains were placed in a vault until spring when they will be taken to Potsdam and interred in Pleasant Valley Cemetery.
