Betty was born on October 1, 1926 in Hopewell Township, New Jersey to Joseph and Elizabeth Hamann. She was the oldest of three daughters.
Betty's early years were on the family farm later the family moved to Lakewood, NJ before building a home in Hamilton Square, NJ. She met the love of her life, George while attending Allentown HS, in Allentown, NJ. Betty married George in 1943 and they settled in Robbinsville, NJ. They had three daughters.
After George passed away she met and married her second soul mate, William "Bill Gaiser and spent 21 years retired in Florida with him. Betty loved Florida and golf and spent many years in Sarasota, FL.
She retired from GE/RCA in East Windsor but loved spending time with her family; she wintered in Florida; spent the summers in Columbus, NJ. Whenever someone asked her where she was from, she always replied, "New Jersey, the garden area".
In the last seven years of her life she lived in Arizona near her daughter and family overlooking her beloved "Superstition Mountain".

Sister, Joyce Carson (Elmer), Beach Haven Gardens, NJ and her beloved step-children, nieces, nephews, cousins & families.
Preceded by: Her loving spouse, George Rogers and her second spouse, William Gaiser, and her parents, Joseph & Elizabeth Hamann, daughters, Carol Lynn Gasslein, Elizabeth A. Rogers (infant), and sister, Doris Scobey (Wesley).
A memorial service was recently held online to celebrate her life and share memories of Betty. In the summer/fall 2021 a service will be held at the Allentown Methodist Cemetery, Allentown, NJ.
