Wanda Louise “Grammy” Lawson, age 80, of Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away at Mercy Anderson Hospital, in Cincinnati, on January 17, 2021. She was born in McKinney, Kentucky, on January 11, 1941, the daughter of Ed and Virginia (Moore) Carpenter. She was a faithful member of Linwood Faith Tabernacle.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband, Ken Lawson; two brothers, Garland (Louise) Carpenter and Hershel (Alice) Carpenter; a sister, Mary Brown; and a granddaughter, Elissa Watkins. She is survived by: a son, Rodney Shawn (Letonya) Lawson; a daughter, Madonna (Austin) Watkins; a brother, Lester (Linda) Carpenter; two sisters, Kay (Thomas) Hogue and Linda (David) Louis; a brother-in-law, Billy Brown; four grandchildren, Lauren (Ray) Pridemore, Lindsey (Brandon) Wilson, Isaac Lawson and Hannah Lawson; four great-grandchildren, Trey Pridemore, McKenzie Pridemore, Haley Wilson and another great-granddaughter on the way; and a special family, Teresa Daugherty Bowling and Toy Pryor Stanley.

Visitation will be from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. Friday, January 22, at Cooper Funeral home. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 23, at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Cemetery. Cooper Funeral Home is serving the family.
