Amy Lou Morgan, a faithful servant of her Lord, took His hand and was reunited with her husband, Roy, on Tuesday evening, Jan. 6, 2015, in Fort Worth. Funeral: 2 p.m. Sunday at Las Vegas Trail Church of Christ. Interment: Monday in Venus Memorial Park. Visitation: 1 p.m. Sunday at the church. Amy was born Oct. 25, 1924, in Alvarado. She met and married Roy Benjamin Morgan. They had made their life together in Benbrook since 1966. She was the last of six children born to James Aaron and Amy Lillian Mackey. Amy loved her family and friends. As a licensed beautician, especially enjoyed helping women look their best. Roy and Amy were lifelong members of the Church of Christ, both at Benbrook and then Las Vegas Trail. She was predeceased by her husband, Roy; parents; and great-grandson, J.W. Taylor. Survivors: Daughters, Donna Crocker of Benbrook, Lynda Williams and husband, Gary, of Weatherford, Alyce Reach and husband, Charles, of Weatherford; grandchildren, TwiNella, LaTonya, and LaRayna, Gary Lynn and Amy, and Michael, Sarah and Aaron; 12 great-grandchildren; 17 great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and many friends.
