Knoxville - Eric Anthony Morgan, age 51, passed away peacefully Wednesday, January 6, 2021, at Parkwest Hospital. He worked at the ORNL Carbon Fiber Technology Facility in Oak Ridge, TN, and was a member of OneLife Church, serving on the Security team. Eric's love for his family and friends was evident to all who knew him. His weekends were filled with all things fast. Eric was a huge sports fan, especially the Buffalo Bills. His laughter and beautiful smile were infectious and will continue to live on as a guiding light for his family.
Eric is preceded in death by his mother, Annie Ruth Williams Morgan (Sunflower, MS); grandfather, Johnny Lee Morgan (Moultrie, GA); grandmother, Myrtice Lynnette Gordon Morgan (Sylvester, GA); great grandfather, Jesse James Gordon and great grandmother, Mary Lynn Williams Gordon (Sylvester, GA); great grandfather, Ozee Morgan and great grandmother, Mattie Alice Morgan (Miami, FL).
