Jim graduated from Willard High School in Willard, Missouri in 1965. He married Mary Ann Lines on September 24, 1965. They had one daughter, Tammy, and were married just over 55 years. Jim is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Stalnaker, daughter, Tammy Stalnaker, sister Kathy Stalnaker, brother Jeff Stalnaker, sisters-in-law Agnes Veale and Carolyn Stalnaker, brother-in-law and sister-in-law Rollie and Dorothy Lines, niece Phyllis Lines, nephews Ronnie Lines, Kevin Lines and David Lines, several cousins, and a countless number of friends. He also leaves behind his two beloved dachshunds, Baxter & Bailee. Jim was preceded in death by his mother, Marge Stalnaker, his father, Mack Stalnaker Jr., his brother, Michael Stalnaker, and adopted daughter, Mary Spencer.
Jim began working at The General Council of the Assemblies of God in August, 1965, and was serving as Human Resources Director when he retired in December, 2011. During his tenure at AG, he formed many special friendships. Jim considered many of these friends his family and loved them dearly.
A visitation will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, January 22, 2021, with a celebration of life service immediately following at 11:30 AM at Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home. Jim will be laid to rest in Rivermonte Cemetery.
