Leslie “B. J.” Ray Ford, Jr., 57, Shelbyville, died unexpectedly on Monday, January 18, 2021. A native of Shelbyville, he was the son of Leslie R. Ford, Sr. and the late Daisy Pauline Evans Ford. He graduated from Shelby County High School. He drove a bus for Greyhound Bus Lines for 25 years, a school bus for Shelby County Public Schools for five years and had been a greeter at Walmart for approximately five years following his retirement from driving. In his leisure time, he enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a member of the former Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church.

In addition to his mother, two siblings, Leslie Rae Beach and Jesse Jerome Ford, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his father, Leslie R. Ford, Sr. of Shelbyville; three sisters, Shirley Ann Ford and Evelyn Loving (Brian) of Shelbyville and Donetta Harris (Roger) of Louisville; a special friend, Divina Hernandez of El Paso, TX and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Saturday, January 23, 2021 at Webb Funeral Home with visitation after 12 p.m. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Shelbyville.
