Michael David Rutledge, 66, of Shelbyville passed away on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 in Louisville.
He was a member of Hope Lutheran Church in Frankfort. He was a graduate of Shelbyville High School. He was a maintenance supervisor at Micro Plastics for 30 years and until recently was employed at Nifco America. He was a former scout master of Troop 164 and scout leader of Troop 270. He had also been a cub scout leader.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Darlene Webster Rutledge.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Jo Rutledge of Shelbyville; his son, Joseph Rutledge (Kylie Ford) of Shelbyville; his granddaughter, Jasmine Nicole Lynn Willock of Louisville; his father, David Rutledge of Florida; his brothers, Greg Rutledge, Todd Rutledge; his sisters, Lisa Davis, Tracy Fultz, Kathy Whelan; his brothers in law; Lee Richardson, Gilbert Richardson; sisters in law, Tina Wilson and Terri Renfrow and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Noon, Monday, January 25, 2021 at the Shannon Funeral Home. Visitation will be 1-8 P.M. Sunday, January 24th at the funeral home. Burial will be in Floydsburg Cemetery.
