Neil R. Walker, 80, of Mifflinburg, entered into rest at 11:20 am on Saturday, December 19, 2020 at his residence.

Born on January 11, 1940 in MIlton, a son of the late Lawrence C. and Elva (Coors) Walker . On September 27, 1958, he married the former Jeanette L. Hauck, who survives.

He attended MIlton Area Schools.

Neil served in the United States Army Reserves.

Neil worked as a truck driver for 41 years, the last company he drove for was, Schneider National Transportation.

He was a member of the American Legion.

As a hobby, Neil raised whitetail deer and a black bear. He was an avid outdoorsman, who enjoyed reloading, hunting, and fishing.

He also like to visit the local food banks to spend time meeting with people.

In addition to his wife he is survived by two sons and one daughter and spouses, Wayne A. and Tanya M. of Lewisburg, Tammy L. and Allen W. Smith of Lewisburg, Timothy S. Walker and fiance Kelly Kurtz of Elmsport, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, and sister and brother-in-law, Connie E. and Elwood R. Stahl of Milton.

He was preceded in death by one daughter Kelly J. Walker Dana, one son, David Neil Walker, and 5 brothers, Warren, Charles, Carl. Chester, and Clark.
