Mrs. Ashmore was born December 12, 1933, to Wyatt and Audrey Caudry of Cahokia Township, Illinois.
She accepted her invitation from the Lord January 20, 2021, at her home in Henderson.
She will be remembered by all as a loving wife, mother and friend.
Kathleen was raised in Gillespie, Illinois.
After marrying Gary Ashmore and starting their family they moved to Texas in 1960.
She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority and an active member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church for many years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Wyatt and Audrey Caudry, her husband, Gary Ashmore, and daughter-in-law, Deborah Lynne Ashmore.
Survived by her children, Sherrie Hash and husband Billy of Seven Points, Tx, Pam Lee and husband Steve of Tyler, Tim Ashmore and wife Mona, Charles Ashmore, and Marian Taylor and husband Johnny, all of Henderson;; grandchildren, Matt Bates and wife Tracy, Mike Bates, Sabrina Hull, Lesleigh Hash, Cord Lee, Clint Lee and wife Amanda, Casey Ashmore and wife Courtney, Cassitty Brady and husband Kyle, Craig Ashmore and wife Emily, Cullen Ashmore and wife, Cheyanne, Cori Ashmore, Jessica Martin and husband Brad, and Ethan Taylor and fiancé, Kristen Atwell; great-grandchildren, Caitlynne Ashmore, Claire Ashmore, Coleman Ashmore, Sonora Martin, Grady Martin, Addy Lee, Tori Lee, Karis Lee, Brianna Hull, Katrina Hull, Jacob Hash, Jason Briones, Michael Briones, Ridleigh Bates, Camdyn Bates, Charlotte Bates, Abigail Bates, Katherine Bates; great great granddaughter Piper Carrington. Also, survived by her sisters-in-law, Janice Dowell, Nancy Knecht and husband Bill, and Carla Ashmore, all of Illinois.
Honorary Pallbearers are her grandsons, Cord Lee, Matthew Bates, Michael Bates, Casey Ashmore, Clint Lee, Craig Ashmore, Cullen Ashmore, and Ethan Taylor.
