Graveside services for Mrs. Kathleen Ashmore, 87, of Henderson, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 22, 2021, in the mausoleum at Rusk County Memorial Gardens with Rev. Dwain Knight officiating. Entombment will follow under the direction of Crawford-A. Crim Funeral Home.
A register book will be available Thursday, January 21, 2021 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. for friends and family to come and sign and pay their respect to Kathleen.
Mrs. Ashmore was born December 12, 1933, to Wyatt and Audrey Caudry of Cahokia Township, Illinois.
She accepted her invitation from the Lord January 20, 2021, at her home in Henderson.
She will be remembered by all as a loving wife, mother and friend.
Kathleen was raised in Gillespie, Illinois.
After marrying Gary Ashmore and starting their family they moved to Texas in 1960.
She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority and an active member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church for many years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Wyatt and Audrey Caudry, her husband, Gary Ashmore, and daughter-in-law, Deborah Lynne Ashmore.
