Rev. Thomas Howard “Tommy” Lamb, 72, of Cumming, Georgia passed away January 17, 2021. He was born on September 16, 1948 and was a veteran of the US Army where he served from 1968 to 1969. Tommy was saved when he was a young man on a Wednesday at Concord Baptist Church and was a member, home preacher, and a Sunday School teacher for many years at Silver City Baptist Church. He was an exemplary man who lived his testimony in his daily walk.

Tommy was preceded in death by his parents Linton and Rose Lamb, father-in-law, Loyd Allen, sister Joy Clark, and brother-in-law Michael Allen. He is survived by his wife, his children, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is also survived by mother-in-law, a brother, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, multiple nieces, nephews, and special friends.

Funeral Services will be held Friday January 22, 2021 at 2 pm at Silver City Baptist Church. Rev. Russell Burt, Rev. Stephen Davis, Rev. Chris Gilbert, Robby Payne, and Rev. Scott Sorrells will officiate. Interment will follow at the church cemetery.

All attendees are encouraged to wear their overalls and the service will be live streamed on Bearden Funeral Home’s Facebook page.
