Manchester - Rose M. (Tawney) McKinney, went home peacefully on Saturday, January 16, 2021 at 10:54PM. She was born March 7, 1968 to Lawrence Tawney and Nancy (Wineholt) Tawney.

Rose attended school in Red Lion, Pennsylvania, and then choose to become a devoted housewife and mother. Rose loved her children and grandchildren unconditionally. She enjoyed writing poetry, listening to music, cooking, and nature.

Rose is survived by her one and only best friend and lifelong companion, Jim Hardy; significant other, Brian Heaps; sons, Eric Tawney and (Nichole), Zach Tawney and (Tiffany), Ivan Hardy and four daughters; and grandchildren, Cameron, Nakoma, Betty, and nine more. Brother Gene Tawney and three more. Rose was predeceased in death by father Lawrence Tawney and Mother Nancy (Wineholt) Tawney.

A Celebration of Rose's life will be scheduled at a later date at the family's discretion. Kuhner associates Funeral Directors, Inc., 863 South George Street, York, is in charge of arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Children's Miracle Network, 600 Center View Drive, Hershey, PA 17033 or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
