Julie K. Taylor, age 60, of Crestview, Florida passed away Thursday, March 5, 2020 at North Okaloosa Medical Center. Julie was born September 29, 1959 to Dorothy Wilson Taylor and Joel P Taylor, Sr. Julie was a very athletic lady. She was the first female football player to play at Richbourg Jr. High School. She received a basketball scholarship to William Carey University in Mississippi. Julie worked for years at OCI as a corrections officer before transferring to the Federal Prison at Eglin.

Julie was preceded in death by her sister, Terry Cutchins and mother, Dorothy Sue Taylor.

Julie is survived by her husband, Thomas Hearn; father, Joel P. Taylor, Sr.; son, Jantzen Hearn of Crestview; brother, Joey Taylor of Crestview, FL; and niece, Tori Wyatt.

A private graveside service will be held for family at a later date.
