Carol L. Moss, 74, of Syracuse, died Monday, January 18, 2021 at the Syracuse Good Samaritan Center. She was born on December 5, 1946 at Beatrice. She graduated Cook High School in 1965 and attended the Lincoln School of Commerce. On July 10, 1966 she married Roger Moss and they were blessed with three children. Carol was a farm wife, but also worked at St. Elizabeth Hospital in the accounting department, and as a nurse aide/med aide at the nursing home. She was a member of Hope Lutheran Church of Burr and the ladies circle. She enjoyed ceramics and scrap booking.

Survivors include her daughter, Colleen Carpenter (Jim Harshman) of Sterling; two sons, Bill (Jennifer) Moss and John (Mycala) Moss all of Sterling; six grandchildren, Raeanna Moss, Alex Carpenter, Zach Carpenter, Tomi Moss, Hudson Moss, and Grayden Moss; brother, Gary “Wayne” Holman of Beatrice; former spouse, Roger Moss. She was preceded in death by her parents, Irvin and Marie Schmale Holman; sister, Laura Rose Price.

Memorial services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at Hope Lutheran Church of Burr with Pastor Heather Brown officiating. Masks are required and social distancing will be observed. Inurnment of the cremains will be at the Burr Cemetery.
