Jane Turner, 76, of Hillsboro, Texas passed away January 18, 2021 at River Point of Kerrville, Texas. She was born March 11, 1944 in Hillsboro, Texas to Willie Jim and Della Mae (Minix) Curbo.
After graduating from Hillsboro High School she went on to attend Navarro Junior College in Corsicana. She later attended Hillcrest School of Nursing where she attained her RN license. Jane went on to receive her Bachelor of Science degree from UT at Arlington.
She went to work at Grant Buie Hospital in Hillsboro. She worked for the doctors for several years before being offered a job as Administrator at Town Hall Estates Nursing Home in Hillsboro. She would remain there for 36 years, retiring in 2015. Jane loved all her jobs and the people she worked with.
On May 13, 1966 she was united in marriage to Jerry Turner. He preceded her in death on May 2, 2011.
Jane loved to travel and shop. She was a member of College Hill Church of Christ in Hillsboro. She was loved and respected by all that knew her.
Also preceding her in death were her parents. Survivors include Muffin, her constant companion, brother, Jim Ed Curbo and numerous other extended family and friends.
Graveside services will be held January 22, 2021 at Hillcrest Garden of Memory near Hillsboro, Texas...M_M
