Mary Bonner “Bonnie” Hagaman Barron age 90 of Covington, LA passed away on January 16, 2021 at Christwood Retirement Community.

Bonnie was born December 22, 1930 in Aliceville, AL to James Brown Hagaman and Sara Alice Basinger. She grew up in Tampa, FL graduated from Plant High School and attended the University of Alabama where she was a member of Alpha Delta Pi sorority.

In 1963 she married Thomas “Tom” Marshall Barron and moved to Indianola, MS.

Bonnie was a member of St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church and served on the Bayou Cuisine Cookbook Committee. She was a member of the Twentieth Century Club and an avid bridge player.

In 1998, Bonnie and Tom moved to Covington, LA. Bonnie was a member of Christ Episcopal Church and various bridge clubs.

She is preceded in death by her parents, James Brown Hagaman and Sara Alice Basinger Hagaman, as well as her beloved husband of 49 years, Thomas Marshall Barron.

She is survived by her only daughter Brenda Barron Geier, her son in law Donald Gregory Geier, and two grandchildren, Gregory Marshall Geier and Sara Baylee Geier.

A family graveside service will be held at the Indianola City Cemetery.
