He was a veteran of the Korean War and retired from General Electric in Cincinnati. Delmar was an avid golfer and played often at Grayson Lake State Park and Carter Caves State Resort Park.
He is survived his wife, Ephie Ann Adkins Brown; two daughters, Vickie and husband Randy Wheeler and Susan (Rick) Marshall; sons Danny (Teresa) Brown, James (Debbie) Brown and Don (Lisa) Brown; two brothers, Grover (Irene) Brown and Joseph and (Vonnie) Brown; 19 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. to noon Saturday at Malone Funeral Home in Grayson. A graveside service will follow at the family cemetery near Grayson.
