Brian Ray Watts, 42, of Robinson IL died unexpectedly on January 2, 2013 at 9:24am in Union Hospital in Terre Haute, IN after a 2 year and 4 month battle with cancer, with which he put up a hard fight.
Brian was born at Crawford Memorial Hospital on July 20th, 1970, the son of Wendall and Linda Watts.
He graduated from Robinson High School while working at the Robinson Elks Club. He was the head cook until he had to give it up due to cancer. He loved working and being with all the people.
He was a member of the Elks Club for 19 years.
He is survived by his parents, Wendall and Linda, of Robinson, his brother Brad and Barb Watts of Robinson, his sister and brother-in-law Julie and Bill Rutan of Flat Rock, his grandmother, Grace Cafin of Robinson, his nephews James Buchanan of Florida, Bradly Buchanan of Robinson and Jonathon Rutan of San Antonio, TX.
He is survived by his nieces, Kiya Rutan of Flat Rock and Ashley Miller of Danville; uncle Larry and Rose Cafin and aunt Carol and Glen Gosnell and cousins.
Brian was preceded in death by his grandparents John and Marietta Watts and Clinton Cafin.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 5th at 5:00pm at the Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson, IL. There will be a time of visitation from 2:00pm until service time at 5:00pm. Pastor Mark Carpenter will officiate. Burial will be held at the Robinson New Cemetery at a later date.
