Brenda Sanders Cross, 72, of Camilla died Saturday, January 16, 2021 at Archbold Memorial Hospital in Thomasville.

Private family graveside funeral services will be held at Pinecrest Memory Gardens with Jeff Rader officiating.

Born June 24, 1948 in Newville, AL, Ms. Cross was the daughter of the late James Luther Sanders and Callie Mae Nolan Sanders. She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Ted Cross and her siblings, Barbara Nell Nunnery, Judy Irene Jones, Ruby Jane Mercer, James Gerald Sanders, Jimmy Ray Sanders, and Freddie Oren Sanders. Ms. Cross was a member of Southside Baptist Church. She worked at City of Camilla, for 29 years, as the Administrative Assistant to the City Manager.

Survivors include two daughters, Rhonda Cross Maxwell (Daryl) of Thomasville and Jodi Cross Willingham (Chris) of Macon; two brothers, John Wayne Sanders of Camilla and Terry Allen “Ted” Sanders of Camilla; four grandchildren, Kelsey Jordin Hurst (JD), Zeb Langston Maxwell, Boulder Blayze Willingham, Oakley Scout Willingham; two great grandchildren, Penelope Lola Hurst and Elliott Tallulah Hurst.

Memorials may be made to The Methodist Home for Children and Youth, 304 Pierce Avenue, Macon, GA 31204.
