Otis Stevens, Jr, age 80, of Bible Camp Lane, Frenchburg, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, January 17,2021 at his home after a brief illness. Born December 24, 1940, in Stephenson, West Virginia, he was the son of the late Otis Stevens Sr and Fannie Bernice Graham Stevens. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister Rebecca Sims.

Otis is survived by his devoted wife, Lyn Coen Stevens, two sons, Michael G. Stevens and wife Kim, Allan J. Stevens and wife Stephanie all of Frenchburg,KY. Four grandchildren, Mikayla Whisman (Chase), Christian M. Stevens (Meghann) Haley Stevens, Chelby Stevens. Three great-grandchildren, Daniel R. Whisman, Raelyn E. Whisman, Aubrey L. Stevens. Two sisters, Nancy Ziemann and husband Karl, Charlotte Dalton and husband Ralph of Michigan. One brother, Robert Stevens and wife Joan of Michigan.

Otis was a retired Coke (Coca-Cola) Technician, an US. Air Force veteran, and a member of the Bethel Baptist Church, Frenchburg, KY. He was a loving husband, father, and brother, and loved to spend time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He will be sadly missed and well remember by those whose lives he touched each and day.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, January 21,2021 at Bethel Baptist Church with Pastor Tim Rhodes officiating. Burial will follow in Wilma Rhodes Memorial Garden, Bible Camp Rd, Frenchburg, KY (with Military Honors conducted by Montgomery Post 22 of the American Legion). Pallbearers: Rick Stiltner, John Rhodes, Allen Wells, Joe Wells, Jim Hagerman, Paul Egelston. Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, Bethel Baptist Church, Frenchburg, KY. Menifee Home For Funerals, Frenchburg, KY with Randy Halsey,Funeral Director.

In lieu of flowers contributions are suggest to Bethel Baptist Church Camp, Frenchburg,KY 40322.

COVID-19 mandate/regulations will be followed as set forth by Governor Beshear and the CDC. The family request that visitors respect their desire to keep everyone safe by practicing social distancing guidelines and to wear a face covering of some sort.
