Billy E. Arnold, 87, passed from this life to the next on Sunday, January 17, 2021.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 21, 2021 at 2PM at the Old Gospel Church, 9142 Hwy. 6, Cisco, TX 76437.

The family will receive friends at the church from 1PM until service time. Interment will be held in the Texas State Veteran's Cemetery in Abilene.

Arrangements are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home of Eastland.

Billy E. Arnold was born on January 5, 1934 in Spicewood, Texas to William Frederick and Allie Mae (Brown) Arnold.

He graduated from high school in Dripping Springs, and went on to proudly serve his country in the United States Navy.

Mr. Arnold married Mary Ruth Capps on September 21, 1955 in Johnson City, Texas.

He owned and operated Arnold Service Center, and was a member of the Old Gospel Church.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Ruth Arnold; son, David. L. Arnold and wife, Freda; daughters, Kathy Lynn Marley and husband, Mark and Roxanna Stewart and husband, Stan; sister, Doris Nell Voges; 8 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Douglas Leon Arnold; and sister, Clarine Ozell Glass.
