Born in Buncombe County to the late Claude Arrowood and Pansy Burleson. He worked as an Independent Contractor.
He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend.
Also preceding his death his wife, Betty Yvonne Arrowood; a grandson, Jesse Robinson; three sisters; Martha Davis, Lucille Jones, and Frances Macrae.
Survivors include his son, Tony Arrowood (Tara); daughters, Claudette Jenkins (Dean), Tracy Robinson (Blaine); grandchildren, Kyle Jenkins (Sheila), Sara Arrowood, Kylee Wooten, Madison Robinson; great grandchild, Dawson Jenkins; two sisters, JoAnn Metcalf of New Jersey and Wanda Montgomery (Jim) of Maryland.
A graveside service will be held at a later date.
