Shirley M Titus, age 95, a longtime resident of Hobart and Crown Point passed away Saturday, January 16, 2021 at West Wood of Niles, Michigan. She was born on December 1, 1925 in Gary, Indiana, to the late Christ and Mayme (nee Eichenseher) Hoeg.
She was a 1984 US steel retiree where she worked in the shipping and steel ordering department. Shirley loved to read and always looked forward to lunching with her fellow U.S.S retirees.
She is survived by her son Thomas (Beverly) Titus; two daughters, Patricia Hodge and Christine Titus; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren and many other loving family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 28 yrs. Horace Titus; daughter, Barbara Allen; her parents; two brothers, Robert, and Kenneth Hoeg.
Per Shirley's wishes there will be no services held. Arrangements are entrusted to Rees Funeral Home, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart, Indiana 46342. (219) 942-2109. Interment will be at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.
