Debra Inez Wright Cook, better known as Debbi Wright Cook - was middle daughter of Rev. and Mrs. Howard E Wright, Sr. She was loved and cherished by all who knew and loved her, especially her Sister, Wanda Dean Wright Shepherd, and Brother, Howard Elton Wright, Jr. "Butch".

Debra “Debbi” Inez Wright Cook, of Bonneau, SC was graciously welcomed into the presence of her Savior on August 17, 2020. Mrs. Cook was born in Laurinburg, NC on June 30, 1957 to Rev. Howard and Mozelle Wright, who preceded her in death.
Debbi was the life of every party, the best dressed in every church service, and the source of laughter at every family event. While never having biological children of her own, she was the spiritual mother to numerous sons and daughters. She had an extraordinary gift of being the best friend you ever needed.
As a singing evangelist, her ministry carried her across the state of South Carolina and beyond, spreading the good news through music and word. She also faithfully served in the local church as music pastor, youth pastor, women’s ministry director, and much more.
Mrs. Cook leaves behind her husband, Terry Woodrow Cook, and his children, Terry W “Peanut” Cook Jr, LaTasha Cook, Renata Cook, and Cathy Lee Oxidine; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; her sister, Wanda (Michael) of North Charleston; brother, Butch (Kenny) of Nashville, Tennessee; nephews, Scott (Elizabeth), Brandon, Adam, Landy and great-nieces/nephews Bryce, Lacey (Aus-tin), Abigail, Karleigh, and Lila.
Mrs. Cook’s family will receive guests on Thursday, August 20, 2020 from 4pm-8pm and will celebrate her life on Friday, August 21, 2020 at 1pm with an additional visitation at Noon leading up to the service, all at the Oak Grove Pentecostal Holiness Church, 2346 N Highway 17A, Bonneau, SC 29431.
