Obituary: Funeral services for William Yancey Davies, 60, will be at 2:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 23, from Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church. -- Msgr. Irving DeBlanc will officiate. Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens under direction of Hixson funeral Home. -- Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 22, with a rosary at 7 p.m. at the funeral home. -- Mr. Davies died Friday, Dec. 20, 1991 in Sulphur. -- A U.S. Army veteran, he served during the Korean War and was a member of VFW Post 2130 and a graduate of McNeese State University. -- Survivors are one brother, Col. Charles Raymond Davies of Indianopolis, Ind., and three sisters, Mrs. Vivienne Neal of Lake Charles, Mrs. Lucille Pearce of Hackberry and Mrs. Althea Pitre of Sulphur.
