Robert E. Champion, 78, of Greenwood, Arkansas passed away Sunday, January 17, 2021 in his home. He was a retired maintenance engineer at Sparks Hospital and member of Rye Hill Baptist Church.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m., Wednesday, January 20 at McConnell Funeral Home Chapel in Greenwood. Viewing will be Wednesday beginning at 9 a.m. before the service.
He is survived by his wife, Rose Champion; two daughters, Cynthia Gayle Barton and husband, Rodney of Greenwood and Roberta Ann Johnston and husband, John of Van Buren; one special daughter, Danielle Mathews of Greenwood; seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, James Champion.
